Two Fundraising Shows to Support Constance Bay FLOOD RELIEF

Rural Root Theatre is asking for any help you can provide towards advertising the revival of our most recent play “Ghost of a Chance”.

As I am sure you are aware, the village of Constance Bay in West Carleton has been severely affected by the recent flooding of the Ottawa River. Our performance venue is the Main Hall in the Constance and Buckham’s Bay Community Centre.  We had to cancel our last show on May 6th because the hall was needed for an emergency shelter/operations centre.

We did not have time for a full tear-down and so the set, lighting equipment, set furnishings, etc. are still in place. Recognizing the opportunity, we have decided to revive our production for two more performances with ALL the proceeds going to the flood relief effort led by the community association.

I have attached the poster for the benefit performances that will run on May 26th and 27th at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at or via the phone number shown on the poster.

We would appreciate whatever publicity you can provide.

Thank you.
